Earlier this year, a photographer acquaintance referred me to her friends getting married in Florida, and I was more than excited. Now, if you know me, you know I grew up in south GA, just 20 minutes from the Florida line, so any wedding in that area of the country instantly gets me excited for the simple fact I will be able to see my family, as I only see them 1-2 times a year. After my initial chat with Christal over the phone, I knew I would get more than just a visit with my family. I would be getting to spend the day with an amazing couple who loved each other dearly, and also loved God. Also, her and Justin shared a similar story to my husband and I's: she is from California, her fiance from Canada, and they met in Florida. I am from Georgia, Nick is from Washington, and we met in Alaska--I know, seems totally random, but for us, it was testimony to God's sovereignty and His perfect plan. These two spent a good amount of time apart from each other during their engagement, and it made marriage even sweeter for them. The theme of their wedding "Love knows no distance" was definitely not unfamiliar territory to me, and I am so, so glad I was able to be a part of their day.

Also, Christal and her family and friends spent an incredible amount of time into making the decor for the wedding. From folding a million maps to create banners, to hand lettering the place chart, their was a lot of love that went into all of the travel-themed details. Everything was created with thought and purpose, which I loved. Here is but a small peak at their day...
