This is doing a wedding right. Amanda and Matt had a destination wedding in the Pacific Northwest---in the middle of the mountains and forest, right next to a roaring river to be exact. With less than 15 of their closest friends and family looking on, it was one of the most intimate weddings I have been a part of. All of the attendees made a small trek through the woods to arrive at the riverside ceremony site, which made it feel even more far away and intimate. There is something about the stillness of the air, the sound of the river, and the rustling of the leaves that makes weddings surrounded by nature so profound, so perfect.
In addition to the whole wedding being based on the couples love of adventure, there were so many beautiful details that made this wedding unique and true to these two. From a moss filled ring box, to handmade decor, and a cozy campfire with smores to finish off the night, this was one of my favorite weddings ever.
