Last week I got to visit the Pacific Ocean. Twice. My first time was a trip down with my sister in law of J.M. Hunter Photography for her styled shoot in Oceanside, Oregon (I'll post photos from that soon). Two days later I was back down in Cannon Beach to model and sit in for a Intensive Lighting workshop with Justin and Mary, a team of AMAZING photographers who offer workshops all over the country. I am definitely very blessed to have had the opportunity to learn from these two. Although natural light is my favorite, in the world of weddings, flash is sometimes a necessity and having the knowledge to create beautiful results with it is essential. I am thankful that I gained some of that knowledge from this workshop.our trip to cannon beach, oregon // lifestyle photography // travel photography // seattle & portland wedding photographer htt We turned this visit into a mini family vacay, as my husband attended Ecola Bible School in Cannon Beach almost 10 years ago (gasp!) and has regularly visited since then. It's one of his favorite places, and luckily for me he knows of many gorgeous, secluded areas nearby that I was lucky enough to see. In the future, we plan on visiting without our little Elsa so we can do some backpacking throughout the area--fun!
Here are photos from Indian Beach (yes, a scene from Twilight was filmed here), Cannon Beach, and driving through Ecola State Park.
