Jess’s perspective is shaped by an upbringing rooted in horsemanship and art — early influences that taught her to read movement, emotion, and environment with quiet precision. That way of seeing continues to guide her work, allowing her to notice what often goes unseen.
Influenced by storytelling and photojournalism, Jess photographs weddings as they are lived, not performed. She allows atmosphere, design, and human connection to unfold naturally, creating images that feel grounded, expressive, and deeply felt.
Based in Minnesota, Jess travels frequently and remains especially drawn to the Pacific Northwest, where she lived and built her business, and the Southeast, where she grew up. She lives with her husband, three children, and their corgi, Pebbles — and finds that a life shaped by movement and place continues to inform the layered, enduring quality of her work.
